Stitch and Pitch
Baseball and Knitting – 2 of America’s favorite past-times.

Plymouth Yarn Company participated with the TNNA sponsored event at Citizens Bank Park, with the Philadelphia Phillies. It was a wonderful evening with colleagues and friends. The weather was mild and a nice evening to watch the World Series Champions and stitch with your favorite yarn from Plymouth.

Here in my neck of the woods (Long Island, NY), we are NY Yankees fans! I find myself knitting the Yankee colors, navy and white when I knit for baby/toddler boys and adding those adorable baseball buttons to a cardigan. I use Encore worsted, which is my first choice for kids no matter what I knit. The advantages of kntting with this yarn go on and on. From the color choices, to it being a washable yarn, generous yardage per skein, it is economically priced and most of all, it is a an excellent quality yarn! If you haven’t try any of the Encore yarns, I say “Give it a wrap around your needle..you will be hooked for sure!”
Happy Knitting Days to all…”
