Christine’s Bio

This is me!

I graduated from Philadelphia University, but in 91 it was called Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.  I worked as a sales representative, selling yarn in New York City after graduation.  I sold mostly industrial yarns to textile manufacturers.  I worked with the big designers like, Donna Karan, Polo Ralph Lauren and Elie Tahari (just to drop some names).  I also sold to mills who weave upholstery, curtains, carpeting and car seat fabric etc.  And last but DEFINITELY not least, to the Hand Knitting wholesalers – that is how I met Dick Power and Terry Phillips  (both wonderful guys with loads of experience in this market).  I hope that my many years of experience in the yarn industry have given me the intuition to choose some real exciting yarn for you!!!

On a personal level – I am a full time working mother of twins, Brooke and Chase.  It gets hairy and scary – But I do the best job of juggling that I can.  I have a very supportive husband, Bruce.   I also have 2 lovely  step daughters, Brittany and Ashleigh.  A blended family means lots of LOVE! Oh and let’s not forget my furry family, Sir Coco Puff and Miss Cuddle Puff, they are both Ragdolls (that is the breed).
